A Chairmanship aspirant in Igbogbo/Bayeku Local Council Development Area (LCDA) in Ikorodu Division, Hameed Olalekan Aroyewun (HOA) has expressed that he’s proud of his brother, Barr. Adeleke Aroyewun, Legal Adviser, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), on his emergence and conferment with the Ikorodu Youth of the Year Award (Male).
Adeleke will be sharing the podium today with other awardees, including the distinguished and exceptional representative of the lkorodu Federal Constituency, Rep. Babajimi Benson who will also be conferred the overall best award as the Ikorodu Man of the year by the Starlight Newspaper.

Aroyewun eulogised his brother’s contributions to the NYCN and his other engagements.

You’ve played a vital role in shaping conversations and influencing decisions across youth platforms, not just in Ikorodu or Lagos State, but across Nigeria as a whole.
“Your contributions have empowered so many young people and created opportunities.
“Over the years, you’ve collected award after award, each one recognizing your brilliance, leadership, and commitment to excellence. But what stands out the most is your character. You’re humble, grounded, and deeply passionate about service qualities that truly set you apart.”

The chairmanship aspirant also acknowledged the growth and personality of Barr. Adeleke Aroyewun, which he said is inspiring to other young ones.
“Watching you grow into this phenomenal man, leader, and changemaker has been nothing short of inspiring.
“This award is just another reminder of the greatness you’re destined for. Keep shining, brother. The world hasn’t seen the half of you yet.
